I've got to have lucky streak ahead of me, because the past 48 hours have been horrendous... First, there was of course the flood in Sheffield and surrounding areas, which did not affect me too much as I live on the third floor, but I couldn't get to work (oh well). Then, Somerfields in the town centre has completely burnt down in the middle of the day! That means I'll have to go to Co-op from now on. Last but not least, our car's not passed the MOT on eight things, so it's the bus for me, and I haven't even got the money left for it before payday in two days, so it's walking to the station and back in torrential rain and storm. Not good when you've got PMS and like to have a lie in. Last but not least, my boyfriend's just covered the kitchen walls in tomato sauce. Has a nice effect on the yellow paint though. But hey, at least the trains were running again today! No need to squeeze myself on a stinky bus that'll be stuck in traffic forever. It's funny...when it rains, the tracks get flooded. When it's too hot, there's summat else wrong with the tracks (cannot remember what) and the trains don't run; and, oh dear, when it snows one inch, everything just breaks down. Laughable really when you come from a country where four feet of snow are normal in Winter. Ah, and my book has got its first rating on Lulu.com! Will proably be the only one for a while... Everyone I know knows about it, but they all say "Hey, I want a copy! A signed one!" Which of course means that they exepct me to buy it! I'll have a curry now and watch "Three fat brides and one thin dress". The evening is saved!
