I know I've not been on here for a while...but hey, not like anyone noticed, innit?

I  have to have a bit of a whinge...maybe it's just the time of year that's pissing me off, but lately everything's just shit.
The trains are getting more crowded from day to day, and this fact seems to be working away in my subconscious because my poems are full of references to being wedged in between strangers on smelly trains. Saw a program a while back where they were testing commuter trains for bacteria etc, and turns out that the grime was so grim, no bacteria could actually live on any of the crusty surfaces. Good Lord. Once you have managed to comfortably stand on one foot an hold on to the edge of a seat with your little finger, trying not to breathe in too deep, the coughing and  sneezing begins. That wouldn't be so bad, but over here, hardly anyone, apart from OAP's ,seem to know that you use tissues to blow your nose instead of snorting like a horse. At home, this is considered really disgusting and bad manners, but here it seems to be the opposite.
At first I thought, why the hell don't these people stay at home, in bed??? But after 3 years in the private sector in the UK, I know why, hardly any of the mother****ers pays you sick leave! My friends and family back home gasped collectively when I told them that. How could that be possible? Well, it is, plus, if you're off sick for just  a day, the work piles up sky high, because every one else is so busy...that's also why I've not been on here for ages, because I am so knackered at night, I don't even want to look at a computer from a distance. Hard work and shitty pay- that's the UK. This is my third winter here and hopefully my last, because either I'll be dead next year or we'll  have moved away.

Anyway, important program on in a minute..."Christmas credit card crisis", yes another whinge- point on the agenda, but I'll leave that for later.
